Hello Rocky Mountain Sportswomen!
It’s about that time where we have another meet and greet, and this time we are doing a Wild Game Potluck and Contest! Come join us ladies of Northwest Colorado who love to hunt and fish, to sit around a fire, eat delicious food, and share our stories with new friends. If you’ve harvested any wild game including elk, deer, antelope, bear, turkey, duck, grouse, or even wild fish, feel free to show off your kill and cooking skills and enter our wild game dish contest! However, if you weren’t so lucky this year, you are still welcome to join us and may provide a “non” wild game dish as well!
We will be meeting at Jaime Barton’s house, just outside of Steamboat Springs. Families and dogs are welcome, please RSVP with your party size. Be sure to BYOB, and bring your own camping chair or blanket for fireside fun. Dress warm, for we will mostly be outdoors!
Wild Game Contest Rules:
All contest entries must be a wild game dish.
Dishes can include appetizers, sides, main dish, or dessert (if you’re feeling extra creative).
If entering a dish, please arrive to event with your dish by 4:30pm.
Dishes must include recipe for all to share, and to be posted on our website! (credit will be given)
Winners will be announced at 6:30pm with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places!
